At the Death House Door

This film follows Rev. Carroll Pickett, who presided over 95 executions in his 15 years as the death row chaplain. Now retired, he is haunted by the case of Carlos De Luna, sent to death for crimes that Pickett—and two Chicago Tribune reporters—say he did not commit. We created clean, stark opening title cards and a DVD featuring a striking collage of Pickett walking through a cemetery in the shadow of a high prison wall.
