No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson

Titles and Graphics

Before he became an NBA superstar, Allen Iverson was at the center of a bowling alley brawl that sent the 17-year-old phenom to jail, and inflamed the small southern town of Hampton, Virginia. Steve James, a fellow Hampton native and the award-winning director of Hoop Dreams, returned to his hometown to reexamine the events of that night, and the lasting impact it had on race relations in the community.

No Crossover premiered at the 2010 South by Southwest Film Festival, and aired on ESPN, as part of their 30 for 30 film series.
