Louder Than a Bomb

Every year, hundreds of Chicago-area high school students compete in Louder Than a Bomb, the world’s largest teen poetry competition. They come from a wide variety of neighborhoods and economic backgrounds, but share a love for words and performance, and the desire to be heard. This documentary by Jon Siskel and Greg Jacobs follows four teams competing in the 2008 event.

Louder Than a Bomb was the Audience Choice Award winner at the 2010 Cleveland International Film Festival.
